Introduction:
Alumni of a RED-C IET are ambassadors at large and play an active role in developing goodwill for the Institute. They also play a very important role in
helping the Institute for establishing new programmes through their continuous support both materially and with ideas. During the last few years the Institute has made remarkable progress in every field. RED-C IET has been able to start not only new programms but new academic departments have also been added.
KPK Board of Technical Education, Peshawar and Federal Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education, Islamabad desires every Institute to establish Alumni Office at the campus. The major objective of the Alumni Office is to establish and maintain active collaboration with the Alumni of the institute.
RED-C IET Alumni Association is working under the control of the Chief Executive Committee (CEC) of RED-C Institute of Engineering & Technology Islamabad. The Association has chapters in South Africa, Japan, Middle East and Europe. The Chief Executive Committee is facilitating the association in pursuing their activities and contributions to support the institute with new vigor.
Mission Statement :
The Mission Statement of the Association shall be “To contribute to the development of RED-C IET and its alumni through improvement and development of curricula and programs, provision of financial and material support and enhancing networking and career development among the alumni”.
Goal :
1.To contribute towards the improvement of the current as well as the development of new curriculum and programs at RED-C IET;
2.To raise financial and material resources for efficient and effective teaching and learning as well as the general wellbeing of students and staff at RED-C IET; and.
3.To develop and help maintain active alumni interactions and enhance the image of RED-C IET through self-enrichment, career development and role modeling in the wider society.
Objectives
1.To enhance and maintain links among members of the alumni and between alumni and RED-C IET;
2.To assist needy RED-C IET students by contributing to their academic requirements such as book allowances and financial contribution;
3.To provide support to RED-C IET Library by donating and/or assisting the library access documentary resources;
4.To arrange study/Technical visits of RED-C IET ‘s students to field;
5.To provide incentives such as rewards and prizes to the best student researchers and best alumni models with proven record of significant contribution to society and industry in Pakistan;
6.To provide advice on the improvement of RED-C IET curricula and programs;
7.To devise ways and means of raising funds for the Association and RED-C IET;
8.To encourage alumni to develop their respective careers through use of RED-C IET resources and support from staff;
9.To initiate seminars, lecturers and other academic functions for the benefit of alumni and RED-C IET;
10.To create and support projects deemed necessary at RED-C IET; and
11.To enhance the image of RED-C IET and promote RED-C IET as a premiere local, regional and international institution of excellence in technical education and research.
