Examination Procedures

DAE Examination Procedures
External exam is conducted according to the K.P.K. Board of Technical Education, Peshawar (Government of Pakistan) rules and regulations. However, forappearing in the External exam students have to pass through the various stages of internal assessment practical, tests and presentation etc.which comprises as
follow:-
Quizzes: 2- Quizzes per week (At least)
Presentations: 1- Presentation per week
Sessionals: 1- Sessional after 2-months
Pre Board Exam: Per Year
Home Assignments: 2- Assignments per week
Ethics: Have the weight age
Laboratory Reports: The students shall submit a boratory reports on each l a b o r a t o r y p r a c t i c a l which the course teacher will evaluate.

Qualifying Criteria:

The instructor may give more tests if feels it necessary.There shall be choice of questions in any of the evaluation techniques.Absentees in any of the above tests shall be awarded zero marks.

Attendance:

student with less than 85% attendance in class lectures and laboratory work in a course, whatever the reasons, shall not be allowed to take the final examination and will have to repeat the session. In exceptional circumstances, student may apply to the Principal for leave which may be sanctioned for genuine reasons. However, this leave is not excused in counting for 85% attendance.

HSSC Examination Procedures:

External exam is conducted according to the Federal Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education, Islamabad rules and regulations. However, for appearing in the External exam students have to pass through the various stages of internal assessment practical, tests and presentation etc. which comprises as

Quizzes: 2- Quizzes per week (At least)
Presentations: 1- Presentation per week
Sessionals: 1- Sessional after 2-months
